Here's what First Weekend Club's latest project is about: Having supported the theatrical releases of over 150 titles since 2003, we’re moving into a new frontier: the online world. We want to make quality Canadian feature films available to anyone, anywhere, anytime. We aim to transform the Canadian cinema landscape by launching a video-on-demand (VOD) streaming platform, which will feature a curated library of the very best Canadian films available.
And if you just want to read an intelligent take on Canadian cinema, they have great film critics, interviews etc. on their site.
