Gold Standard Labs have posted some lengthy insight behind "Frances The Mute", the upcoming new album from the The Mars Volta. You can check it all out here. The album will see a March 01st release through Strummer/Universal with a vinyl edition to follow via Gold Standard Labs on March 22nd. A 12" vinyl-only self-titled EP from the band will also arrive on the same date and will feature the exclusive non-album track, "Frances The Mute", which oddly enough is in fact not on the album it derives its title from.
