Progress of the Journey To Sydney for Robbie Williams Scheme: Getting there. Much as I'd love to go to Melbourne to see him, as I think it's a nicer place and there are more people there that I want to meet (and also possibly because "Run Rabbit Run" on the Victoria tourism ads has gotten to me), I'm stuck with Sydney because my mother can't get away from netball on the 10th. So, it's the 13th in Sydney. Tickets should be booked very soon, as all I have to do is give my grandmother $150 and get her to credit card book it all.

Accommodation shouldn't be a problem, as there is the marvellous John Atkinson, my chatterbox godfather and an all around top bloke. It's the transport and spending money that's going to be the problem, especially as Mum and I can't even decide how we're going to get down there. She plans to go straight from Sydney to Perth to visit her friend Brigette, so either way I'll be alone on the way back. I'd like to fly, but it's expensive. The other options? Train or bus. Ruling the bus out right away, it's just not going to happen. We'll look into the train a bit more. I would've been happy with driving down, as it's mega cheap by comparison, but since Mum's going to Perth it's out of the question.

But anyway, anyone in Sydney who thinks I should meet them, now's your chance. *g* I'll definitely be there on December the 13th, and probably a day or two either side. *anticipation*

family, robbie
