Things I Want Most In The World
1. To see the LOTR posters which arrived for me at Ona's house today.
2. My kitty.
3. Hurling tournaments in Brisbane.
4. A Queer As Folk marathon.
5. To see Helden In Tirol again.
There's a lovely Irish sport called hurling on SBS at the moment and it's hugely entertaining. It's like soccer with sticks and a smaller ball. *nods* I think there should be a national Australian hurling competition and it should receive much more media coverage than shit like AFL or rugby. Aaaanyway, what have I been doing?

Anthony is being illogical. This is nothing new.

Well, last week was mostly uneventful. Spent most of it at Anthony's as usual. On Friday Ona and I went on a quest to find TTT action figures but to no avail. Lo and behold, what do I find on Saturday? TTT action figures. Promptly bought two of course and tried to contact Ona to gloat but the damn bitch had her mobile off all the time. *sigh* Not that I'm surprised by that of course. :-) But I ended up being able to gloat eventually so I suppose I'll live. I'm just happy that I finally got them before she did. *g*

As I think I've mentioned here in the past my step-cousin Gaby has leukaemia. She's going to be starting stem cell therapy soon, which apparently is going to make her feel really sick for a while - even worse than the chemo. So on Saturday my father and stepmother took several of us on a special sort of 'last lunch' for her. There was me, Dad, Maria, Carlos, Gaby and some of my other step-cousins Pepe, Lourdes, Maria-Jose, Cristina and Alejandra. I never had such a huge family before Dad and Maria met. Anyway, we went on a cruise on the Kookaburra River Queen II. Just a two hour cruise up and down the Brisbane River - I imagine it's more exciting if you've never been up and down the river before, but the food was good, and the music entertaining except for the rat bastard who was trying to play a fucking gum leaf in a small room and it was generally lovely. I don't want to know how much it cost though. :-/

Sunday, I met Anthony in the city. I bought a book for $5 - The Count Of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas. I've wanted to read it ever since reading The Three Musketeers and now I can. Hurrah! Anyway, proceeded to New Farm Park for Anthony's sister Elizabeth's birthday gathering, which was lovely. Quite a relaxing weekend in general I suppose.

Nothing interesting has really happened since then so I'll bugger off to play Age of Empires now.

family, pointless list, sarah/ona, misc sport
