I am so upset at HP right now. I just got my laptop back from them on Saturday. First off, they sent it to the wrong address. I called them about a week and a half before it arrived, and asked to change the shipping address because i knew i was moving back to the TC, but it went to my old address in Seattle anyway. luckily, I happened to be in town the day after it arrived to pick it up. Its been acting up since I got it. First, my sound cut out inexplicably. only a restart fixed it. did that twice so far. then, i was looking at the resource monitor and say that it was using 1.4 gigs of ram, and that was almost 50% of the available ram. that would mean i have 3 gigs of ram, which i checked. yup, 3 gigs. problem is, I bought it wit 4. then i start thinking, what else is messed up here? lo and behold, instead of vista 64 bit, i have vista 32 bit. i'm pretty sure the processor is right, as is the video card, but I'm not positive. I called them to find out wtf was going on, but the level of tech support needed to deal with my problem wont be on duty for another 2 hours. i found that out after ten minuets on hold. i am so tired of call centers in India. grrrrrrrrrrr. then the guy wanted to have them call me back when they got on duty. im like "uhhh, I dont want a call at 5 am thanks." ok im done.
