Back from the Island. St. Simon's was nice.
Got a chance to spend some time with the family, which doesn't happen that often these days. Pretty nice, but I feel I've spoiled myself on Island trips with friends. Still, any time on the island is good time.

I don't think his jacket is fleece. I've never once thought it was fleece. I don't know why. It's definitely not fleece.

He's wearing a windbreaker. Look at it.

The reason I say fleece is because whenever you see the jacket, there are so few creases in it. I feel like a polyester windbreaker wouldn't have a soft enough look. Maybe it's just that one.

And with that one, I see it's got pockets on both sides of the jacket near the bottom and I can't get a really good look at the collar.

Looking at Fry again, the... I don't know what they're called - the things at the bottom of the torso and the sleeves, remind me of a jacket I've got that's just straight cotton. So, I guess that would work, too.

In the end, I suppose it'll come down to whatever I can find that's cheap, so I'll keep a look out for all forms of jacket, be they fleece, windbreaker, cotton, whatever.
And I don't know, maybe it's the way my monitor at home is set up, but looking at the columbia sportswear jacket there on this school monitor, I'm a little less confident in it.

i vote for intense red. ^^
And i agree with it not being fleece... but i dunno, now that you point it out, fleece seems like a good option.

Btw, FF 12 is pretty. XDD
i only have about 9 hours of game play on it, but i love it regardless. ^^ i REALLY need to work on making my FF 12 costume so i can wear it to AWA. >.

If it helps, Fry's jacket is based on the one James Dean wore in Rebel Without a Cause. It always seemed to be a darker red, at least based on my DVDs, but the intense red would probably wind up looking better.

Also the next time you're in town, go to Vidalia's Army-Navy store. They have a lot of police surplus too and I've think that I've seen the circular brim hats there. I'll look the next time I go back there.
