(no subject)
So 46 damn degrees outside this morning. Felt fairly good outside, but damn. Where did THAT come from?
Last night, I had such a fantastic dream that when I woke up, not only was I really pissed off, I tried SO hard to get right back to sleep. It's weird, because normally, I don't have dreams I REALLY want to be a part of. Either they're freakish, maybe a bit scary, or they're just ridiculous. This was one of the few dreams that was 100% real to me. Nothing outlandish, just everything, EVERYTHING going right for me. Everything I've been thinking about the last few months, everything I've been wanting to happen happened and everything was perfect. Sun shining, blue skies, love all around. And damn did it feel real. Gotta try and make that real.
Right now, I'm going to try something different. I was thinking about-
NEVERMIND! I was going to say that I wanted to go out and do something in town, but couldn't remember what it was I wanted to do so I was going to write out my thought process on LJ to see if that would help me remember *deeeeeeeeep breath*, but I just remembered and it's too damn late to do it now. Bah.
Wanted to go to Goodwill, check out the clothing sitchyation. May do that tomorrow. Go to R&B, fill out tax forms, go to gym, go to Goodwill, check out some music shops.
I'm saving up for an HDTV, but I just want to play some guitars, see if anything strikes me. Maybe a classical? Nylon strings? That'd be fun.
Grindhouse coming out this weekend. Anybody gonna see it?
Geek force was in full effect last night. Went to the UGAnime org meeting and the time came for these most dedicated of members to suggest possible animes to go into the schedule for next semester. This allowed for these people to reel off their extensive anime knowledge, whilst also sliding in little joke titles full of what I assume are inside jokes, because some of the anime got big laughs just by being named. Needless to say, I felt completely outgunned. Wholly inadequate. I KNEW of some of the titles, but nothing about them. I know Tsubasa Chronicle got suggested, along with xxxHolic. I think Ouran was suggested, so I know that one. But that's about it. Patlabor got thrown out there, I think? Anyway, my level of geek is far surpassed on a regular basis by every member of this club, which is both comforting and disappointing.
G-Day game, the Georgia football spring game is Saturday. HELL FUCKN YEAH. College football. It is coming. Just coming up over the horizon. My problem: Georgia's opening day game is against Oklahoma State in Athens. BIG ENORMOUS MONSTROTITANIC game. This game is on September 1. I was able to miss last season's opening day because we played Western Kentucky, and that allowed me to go to DragonCon, a fantastic experience, one of the best ever. But. This time is different. DragonCon, which I know is fantastic, will happen the same time as a Georgia football season opener with huge implications.
... This is going to be tough.
