GEORGIA BULLDOG.
Suck on it, Tech. Bama can fear the thumb, but Tech's had to worry about us getting started on the other freaking hand. AND GUESS WHAT.
I'd like to be serious for a moment and offer up my gratitude to a very special person. I didn't post anything around Thanksgiving, so I think I'm overdue for my giving of thanks. In light of this latest Bulldog victory, I can't think of anyone I'd like to thank more than the man who's been generous enough to not only offer up wins to the Bulldog Nation for the past few years, but to, this season, salvage the year and give the Bulldogs good reason to smile and not have to focus on the distant future. This man has been a solid performer for the Bulldogs every single year of his collegiate football career. I simply cannot articulate my gratitude to this athlete well enough, so let me just say to him: thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Reggie Ball for all your hard work and generosity. I speak for every Georgia Bulldog all across the globe when I say: We're going to miss you, Game Ball.
That's right, sports fans. 15-12 in the Classic City. Georgia upsets Tech. South Carolina took down Clemson. U-freaking-S-freaking-F toppled the Mountaineers (way to go, Jupes, way to go). Georgia Women's Basketball team beat Stanford.
Thanksgiving was great. Break was definitely good for me. Break time, no class, chilling with old friends. I got to see the Tenacious D movie. That was hilarious.
Unknowingly went to a big party Wednesday night. Got there thinking it was just going to be a normal-sized restaurant crowd, but damn if all of middle damn Georgia wasn't represented there.
Got to spend some time with a 360 and a Wii. It's true what they say about Wii Sports. Hopefully before the end of 07, I'll have a 360 and a Wii. They're both neat-o. Super duper.
Finished my first little makeshift screen printing project. Went awesomely. If you've got about 25 bucks and want to give it a shot, it's ridiculously easy, quick, and fantastico. I've got the link to the site, if you wants it. I will soon have many homemade shirts. A Bob Ross tribute is in the works. Yes it is.
Enjoyed some mega, tryptophan(sp?)-induced sleep.
Played disc golf for the first time. Tons of fun, that. When I'm not putting the damn thing in the road.
Went to the UGA-Tech game Saturday with JR and Chip. What a blast. Mom and Dad couldn't go, so I got some buds o' mine to fill spots and we had a ball. Lost our minds. Insano Deluxe. With the special sauce.... yyyyeah. Whatever. Anyway, had a big time.
But, here we are. Back in Athens, back in class. 9 more days til classes finish. Then, finals begin. The work left for me to do seems tough, but nearly a week of goofing off has got me out of practice. I've just got to put my nose to the grindstone for these next two weeks and then I'm done, baby, out. Finito.
I'll be done with English. Done with Park Hall. Getting ready for a northern excursion. Have a big time in Charlotte. Come back, chill with the family. CRITMUSS.
Oh, what fun awaits.
Til then, I'll be awaiting the announcement of the Dawgs' bowl destination. Hopefully, we'll be in Atlanta for the Chick-Fil-A Bowl and we'll get to play VA Tech. This would be very interesting, as it would split my family up pretty well over the holidays. Me and Dad are/were UGA students. My Uncle Ed taught at VT, so his wife and kids are Hokies fans. Good times ahead... But, I'm getting ahead of myself.
I'm just going to cross my fingers and pray we don't go to Shreveport.
