Part-Time Cyborg

Ticker du moi did not stop acting up until Sunday afternoon, stayed all palpitaty until Saturday, and then was intermittently wonky for a bit after that. Anyone who has had this wonderful experience can probably vouch for how incredibly distracting it is. Imagine a gnome sitting inside your chest and giving your heart an extra kick on the backbeat. As a result, I didn't get much done, really, until Saturday rolled around and my paranoia had subsided enough.

So they put this "Holter monitor" on my chest, which required shaving a little patch in the center of my pectorals. It's a little box with all kinds of wires running out of it and to little electrodes, which are stuck to moi and recording heart thingses. I have to wear it for 24 hours, which will make sleeping interesante this evening. I'm sure yoga inversions will also be quite exciting, as well.

I'm having a strange urge to walk door to door asking for Sarah Connor.
