'Cause they're awesome
I have decided that I am in like with the Yu Yan archers. I don't understand why they were only in that one episode. One would think that Ozai would have sent for them during the Eclipse to help defend against the invaders that he knew were coming.
Now the Yu Yan are an elite group of archers able to 'pin a fly to a target a hundred paces away'. I am considering these boys (and girls)
to be the elite sniper force of the Avatar World. So then, since they were, I feel, greatly underused, I'm going to make it into a project to inject some life into these characters, starting with these five.
There will be a total of twenty squads of five-man teams.
Skills: Archery, Stealth, decent Knife-throwing
Purpose: Special Ops, Security Guards, Being Awesome

The Yu Yan
How they work: Five to a team, two females to three males. Each squad has a captain appointed by the commanding officer over them. The captain has the power of his/her own squad. Under him/her is the lieutenant appointed by the squad captain.
If there is conflict within teams, it is dealt with by the captains in whatever way they see fit. Almost anything will be done to ensure harmony within a squad, as each member works together as a tight unit. Transfer or suspension are possible disciplinary tactics, or even 'trading' team members. 1. Ishi - M - Senior Captain
Ishi is the senior most member of this division of the Yu Yan. He is of equal rank with the other squad captains, but they respect him more and often treat him as one would a general.
He has one son, Torai of Squad Four, and handles him more harshly than the other Yu Yan, his way of showing favoritism ensuring that his son is prepared for anything. Ishi seems severe, because he talks very little and smiles less. He follows the orders of his commanding officer without question, and expects those under him to do the same.
Despite his age, Ishi is still a top-ranked archer and athlete, able to keep up with the younger crowd easily and often pushing them to their limits. If an issue cannot/will not be resolved by a squad captain, then he/she may ask the other captains to weigh in. This is un
