I'm having that usual bizarre mid-semester feeling of time rushing by and standing still simultaneously. Every week I can't believe it's already Friday, and every week I can't believe this semester isn't over yet. The semester isn't overly difficult, but it's frustrating. And I'm not choreographing or performing in UDT, so every time I see them practicing I'm disappointed all over again. I'm supposed to graduate in the spring, so my opportunity to do anything on stage at school is over. Doesn't seem like a good point for the resume. Eh. I'm not sure what I'm doing next year, anyway. I was thinking of getting my teaching credential for Art, which would let me get a supplemental teaching credential for Dance. But after my education classes this semester, I think I'm not meant for the public school system. It seems to involve bureaucracy and children. But I could go for my Master's in Dance, which would let me teach at a community college. In the meantime, I could teach in private studios. I'm also considering going back to massage school and focusing on sports rehabilitation massage. I think I'd do better with more ability to control my own schedule. And then I could choreograph on the side.
Anyway.
The world is scary right now. The election is terrifying me. John McCain is seventy-four and won't release his medical records, and Sarah Palin is a creationist with an IQ of 83. For real. Help, world. I wish the UN or somebody would monitor our election. Here's a funny/scary interactive picture. Go click around and watch.
