Mouse saga:
After four captures, and ever increasingly distant releases, I think to myself "how do I know if it is the same mouse coming back"?
I decide to put some harmless water based emulsion paint on top of its head !
Next day, after previously releasing the white helmeted mouse into a field about 100 yards or more away from here, this morning I have "Stig" back in the trap :o)
This time I have released it about a mile away across a busy road, over a railway, over a canal down the valley, over the river up the other side and under another railway bridge!!
If it returns this time I will make a cage for it and keep it as a pet!!
