All the kids that have returned from study abroad seemed to be on main street today. They looked the same as before they left, which I found strange because I feel like England had a huge effect on my style and tastes and I only spent a month there. Maybe that makes me impressionable, which isn't exactly something one wants to be, but everyone is to an extent. I think personal style is really just what you pick up from the people and places that surround you manifested in clothes and poise. Today I was talking to Giana about how she adopts her boyfriends' styles. Thinking about it now, it'd be impossible not to pick up someone you care deeply about's style. You pick up their mannerisms, sense of humor, etc. so it only makes sense that'd you start matching on the outside, too. I guess it's about finding that level where you compliment each other, rather than look like twins.

Minus the face, this is my fashion counterpart.

While I'm on the subject of fashion...

I want her boots and hairstyle. However, I can't say the same for her glasses, bag, and cat lady coat.

This is what I'll look like when I move to Europe and shit sophistication.
