So the Disney trip departs tomorrow, weather permitting. i can't wait to go, it's going to be so much fun. i went tanning yesterday so i wouldn't be the color of death when i got down there, and the idiots at tiki tan put me in for 15 minutes instead of 8 like i had asked for. so now i'm the color of a very embarrassed tomato, unless anything comes in contact with my skin, and then it leaves a sort of ghostly white handprint or whatever on my otherwise seared flesh. and i have two giant red patches on my ass and the back of my legs from where i was lying on the bed. yeah, so that's the last fake n' bake session for me.
i've never been to disney before, and i was talking to jen last night and she was telling me all about the rides and stuff, and she used the word "anamatronic" a bit too much for my taste. see, because "anamatronic" conjures up images of robots going berserk and killing people and then their heads explode. robots are creepy even when they're not berserk though, cause you know it's only a matter of time before they snap, and then you're in trouble. jen was also insisting that i go on the "it's a small world" ride, which i think would scare the bejeezus out of me. cause robot children are way creepier than grown-up robots, cause they look all nice and cute at first, and then they turn evil. they also have a tendancy to bring to mind chucky from those stupid horror movies which i've never actually seen, but i've walked past the case in the video store enough times. actually, chucky was pretty evil-looking to begin with, so that's alright. no one in their right mind would trust something that freakin' ugly. but like those gremlin things, they were cute at first, and then they were all like, rargh, we're evil.they weren't robots though, they were gremlins. oh well, they kind of looked like robots, the way they moved, and the way they turned evil and stuff. whatever. i'm going to bed. this time tomorrow i'll be in warm, floridian weather surrounded by robots trying to kill me. good times.
