I've been getting everything done apart from my Uni work. It's a bit like priority inversion, I suppose. The really high priority, must-do, without-fail stuff just doesn't get done, but all those little niggling jobs that could be done just about anytime get finished off, one after another.
Today, I got my hair cut (well, all of them to be precise) and did some laundry. I dug up the root of a plant that had been growing outside the kitchen window (I don't remember planting it there) and began to dig up the rose bush next to it. I sawed off the last of the long branches of the Ceanothus tree that blew down over the winter, and started to pile up the logs. I tested the metal detector with an improvised battery and it didn't work. I updated my Vintage Video web page after I got an e-mail enquiring about CVC machines (the very rare Technicolor 212E). And I made a spaghetti bolognese for supper.
Did nothing whatsoever towards the MSc. Absolutely diddly-squat. And now I'm beating myself up over it.
