The weekend, really

Didn't get much done today (which was definitely Saturday) because I woke up with a rotten headache that didn't clear up until 4pm. I used to have migraines quite often, but I haven't had one for over 10 years now. This one didn't feel like those migraines used to, but then again, maybe it was. Anyway, it's a very rare occurrence now, which is the main thing.

There's good news from the tugurium: I've cleared the whole of the landing and most of the bedroom and computer room of junk. For now, I've even put the loft ladder away. It's really refreshing to be able to walk around without having to twist sideways to get past things.

I hooked the Spectrum up to the scope today. Just to see what's going on with the video signal, really. I want to build a good composite video output circuit for it, so that I can hook it up to modern TVs and the like, via the little yellow phono plug. I'll need a buffer amplifier to connect the Spectrum's video to a 75Ω video input, probably just an emitter follower.

Supper today was a beefburger with chips, curried beans and fried onions. The Met Office have issued a pungent fart warning for parts of South Gloucestershire.
