My last entry was not meant to be a homosexuality "bashing" entry.. It was meant to inform you all what is currently undergoing within our state. The entry that I posted upset me. It made me realize exactly why they think homosexuality is OK

Alright. So you're saying people who don't accept homosexuality are not in any way closed minded?

Do you think people who discriminate people of different races closed minded? Probably so. Why? Because people can't chose the race they were born into, why discriminate against something people can't choose?

Guess what? SAME WITH HOMOSEXUALITY.

No one "chooses" to be gay. No one wakes up one day and says, Hey, today seems like a good day to be gay, why not. If you think that's the case, you lead a very sad and shallow life.

In fact, most homosexuals try everything they can to stay in the closet becuase of people like you and people who discriminate against them, they try not to be what they were BORN as, yes- homosexuals!- because they don't want to face the discrimination that comes from people like you.

So my next question is, how is allowing marriage to homosexuals "special privelages"?

Is allowing a straight man to marry a straight woman a special privelage? No. It's expected.

So why isn't it expected for a woman who was born with an attraction to women, to marry another lesbian, or a man who was born with an attraction to men, to marry another gay man? There's no special privelage in that. Marriage is the eternal bond of love, it's not a special privelage to those who happen to be straight.

As for your comment about the Romans saying the thing about the change.. Soo, you think the world should stay the way it was in the past? Okay. So let's rewind back, oh, as little as about sixy, seventy years ago. Not TOO long ago. Let's live in a time of war and destruction and caring about no one but ourselves, dropping atomic bombs left and right to get back at people.

"But that's different!". No it's not. You're saying change shouldn't happen! So let's live the way we used to live, and if you want to go back 5,000 years as you're saying? Haha, let's get rid of all this technology- it's too much change and reform!

you're VERY well versed, i e-applaud your argument. it's exactly what i would have said, had i decided to write my thoughts on the subject, out.

instead of continuing this rant, i'll leave this john fellow with an article, instead. he should read it.
