Today in New Jersey they are having a supreme court case on whether or not to legalize same sex marriage in New Jersey. I really do hope that there are still some sensible people left in New Jersey and that they who are on the supreme court vote against same sex marriage. if something does not affect you that doesnt mean that its not right. it means that you shouldnt stick your nose into other peoples goddamn business and then tell them their wrong. they arent seeking your approval. why the fuck should they?

the raping example is completely off topic since no one is being physically harmed by gay marriage. so im disregarding you even saying that and blaming it on you being a freshman. if your kids think that gay marriage is alright, well looks like their faith wasnt as strong as you thought to begin with, and wouldnt be christians at all because they obviously didnt take it to heart as much as you.

gays dont even want to be "married." all they want is the same basic rights that straight married people have. such as in hospitals with their partner or being recognized as a "spouse" after the death of their partner or even just the same tax breaks as a straight couple. and that last one is the reason why most couples do get married. so why cant they have the same rights as a straight couple? denying gays rights doesnt get rid of them. they are always gonna be there. their existence will influence yor kids.

if you wanna brainwash your kids to think the same way you do, you have some real goddamn problems. all you christians try to do is brainwash everyone else. let people have their goddamn right to their choice of religion or lack of one and stop trying to shove that bible bullshit down everyones throat. let people make their own goddamn choices.

i would laugh so goddamn hard if you had a gay son or daughter when you get older. theres nothing saying that you wont. and if you cast that kid aside, your being wrong morally. and when he/she wants to have the same rights as his/her parents, would you really be so much of an asshole to not let your own kid have those rights and be happy? think about it if that situation happened to you. actually think about it. i have a feeling you wont, and youll pull the typical christian answer.

Do you think that the person who is raping somebody is seeking YOUR approval? No, he is not. What about cops. Cops who inforce the law stick their nose into other peoples business, but hey, since they arent seeking YOUR approval, does that mean they should not stick their nose in to your business?

Raping somebody is a comparisson. Maybe a..very big one, but a good one at that. You say that nobody will be physically harmed by gay marrige, but how about the kids who are adopted by gay couples? It is a proven fact that kids adopted by gay couples have the highest chance to be placed into an emotionally disturbed class or a special ed class. They also have a very high suicide rate. So I'll do as you did, completly disregard you even saying that.

If gays do not want to be married then why are they having court cases for being married? You say that tax breaks are the reasons why most couples want to get married, but I thought they wanted to get married because..THEY LOVE eachother. That is YOUR main arguement for why they should get married and that is also the main arguement used by the homosexual supporters..That THEY LOVE each other, but it seems that you are now contradicting your own agenda.

If my kid was gay I would be completly 100% against them being. I would still love them and treat them as my child, but not support their homosexuality. Love the sinner and hate the sin.

dude your so fucking off topic. your arguments make no sense. rape doesnt fit into this at all. theres no way you can even make a comparison. teens in general have the highest suicide rate. and yet i would bet the reason that the ones brought up by a gay couple is not because their adopted parents are gay. its more likely to be because they are getting picked on and harassed by people like you and others that hate gays. then what about the rest of the teens that kill themselves? their parents are straight christians, so maybe straight christian parents arent so good to have either. (i know that is a poor manipulation, but i did it to show you that yours was just as bad)

i didnt contradict myself because its understood that they love each other. of course if they want to get married they are in love, but what they really want is the legal recognition of being together. not the religious aspect. they want their partner to be able to retain their possessions after they die. they want the same fucking rights that would have being married. maybe i wasnt clear enough before, but its obvious that you dont know enough about the other side of the argument.

and besides it wasnt MY main argument since in my last comment i never mentioned that they loved each other. your adding your own thoughts and percieving them to be mine.

and i do accept your religious beliefs, since ive never once tried to change them. all ive tried to do is get you to see a glimpse of the other side of the argument. notice i said that you wont "consider" anything i said. i honestly dont think your right in trying to oppress and discriminate against this particular group when they havent done a damn thing to you. keeping religion out of the argument (even though you never keep it out of anything), its wrong to legally oppress one group in this fashion. religiously, i still think its wrong because religion is bullshit, but thats another topic.
