a beautiful and wretched vampire appeared
from under my bed, and sat down next to me
and cried
she said
do you think i am beautiful, for all that i am wretched?
and i lay down again, breathless, and answered
yes
she stopped crying then, and lay next to me
and stared
she said
do you think you could love me, for all that i am damned forever?
and i closed my eyes, tightly, and whispered
yes
she wiped her tears, and kissed my lips warmly
and sighing
she said
forever, then, could you be mine, for my sake and the love of hell?
and i fell asleep, in her hot stinging embrace, thinking
