What I Want for my Birthday
Birthday wish list. I'm not asking for anything big that people can't do but I want my friends to do at least one of the following this week:
- Listen to my slot for at least an hour on RJ Underground 105.9 at 4PM-7PM this Tuesday or Thursday and give me genuine feedback. Text me about what you think. Don't pull any punches. We jumped into this without much training and nobody's going to do that so I have to learn on the job. I need someone to tell me what they think I'm doing wrong. If you can't do it this week, do it on Monday morning next week. I'm on board on Mondays from 9AM-12PM.
- Watch our gig at Club Dredd this Friday! I can't remember who we're playing with just yet but I'm posting it once I find out. A lot of you have never watched me play so please do come over this Friday. I'd really appreciate it. If I had money I would have promised at least a beer to everyone who goes but I'm broke so there!
- Go to our Wednesday show at RJ bar this week. We need an audience! There's usually a cover charge but I can get 5 people in for free. First five people get it. Again, I would have promised free beer but I'm broke. As I announced earlier on air, the following bands are playing: Blast Ople, Juan Pablo Dream, Teenage Hero, Bloc Party and Slayer. One more band is playing actually but I don't know who it is yet. Normal damage is a hundred plus you get a free hug from Niki Flojo.
- There's also AMP's Rites of Passage on Saturday at Kublai's. I'll be there but I'll be kind of late. Please go, I promise it will be a great show. The following bands are playing: The Out of Body Special, Empty Siren Boulevard, Dicta License, Marshmellow and 5 NEW ((aMp)) BANDS : Pascalene, Thought Prison, Tansan ni Gaston, ABS and Hansom!
- Finally, if you're interested in the Landmark Forum thing I had last weekend, please come for my last session this Tuesday at 7:30 PM at the Dusit Hotel's Grand Ballroom. Just check it out and see what it's about. It's an amazing program and I'd like everyone to see what it is and what I got from it. It lasts until around 10:45. Just tell them you're my guest.
- Someone lend me the first few HP books. Nix and I made a deal a few years ago that we wouldn't read the books until they're all done. Now that they're out. We need to read everything now. Somebody lend me the first few books.
