boo to the sickness :(
last weekend audrey, mark, and I went to the cabin for some fun in the snow. Little did I know it would snow- the ENTIRE time. So at first I was like YEY! As we drove up it was a little scary cause the mountain was foggy and even at lower altitudes the road was snowy/icy. But I did a good job and got us up safe and sound (thanx to my moms 4wheel drive) we got there at about 1 or 2 in the morning, I forget. But anyways... we spent the first day playing in the snow... or I should say playing with the quad and a innertube! The streets by my house would get bulldozer but not nearly as good as the main streets so there was a layer of snow through all the streets where my cabin is. So we tied a huge inner tube to the back of the 4 wheel motorcycle (for thoose of you who don't know what a quad is) and drove ourselves all over the place. It was pretty awesome, we ended up staying out longer then I would have expected. But eventually we came inside... Mark made spaghetti and we made cookies and thats about it (oh and I got to watch a special on TV about Disney Weddings!). That night me and audrey both had sore throats and had a hard time sleeping, so thought the next day we would just stay in the house and play games n stuff. But no, silly me, some friends from down the block were up and so I was like ok lets just go out and play for like 30 min? Sounds harmless right? Well 30 min turned into MANY HOURS- mainly because my dad and his friend decide to go fishing- not even 1 minute away from the house the boat jackknifes and mushes my dads car into the snow embankment. NICE. So we feel quilty riding around having fun- plus I know my dad and if I don't come to help there will be hell to pay. So we put the stuff away and come to help... I dunno how long we spent with them but it was a damn long time filled with all of us giving good solutions as to how to get the car out and them giving stupid ones. So eventually they take our advice and after a LONG time we get the boat off the back and pull the car out (the back tire totally came off of the rim.. thats how mushed in it was!) So now we wait for them to change the car tire, then put the boat away... and then its like the neighbors still want us to take them out on the tube...so Audrey goes inside cause well its been a long time. Me and mark take them out... for what felt like not that long, but I guess it was a decent about of time. Eventually we go inside shower and have dinner. We sleep good, but in the morning I just did not feel good. All the way home I felt even worse. As the week followed I got better then worse then better. All the while keep in mind- all that driving around outside as it was snowing did one heck of a number on my face. My whole face was/is burned and crackly and dry :( and hurt like a mofo ::sniff:: So on friday I called in to work- I felt bad cause I know they have no subs right now but I could tell work was making it even worse cause I have to yell alot.....
So.. for the WHOLE weekend I pretty much just stayed in bed and drank water, ate soup and stayed intoxicated on a number of different drugs... and now its monday and I am still not well. My tonsils are still pretty huge I have a head cold... but on the bright side my face is finally not so burnt and crakly anymore. This sickness SUCKS. On a side note Mark woke me up this morning, not my mark but my old manager from staple mark. Turns out he got his own store in Anaheim and he wanted to know if I wanted to come work for him- umm pass. Honestly if I had no job I would cause out of all my jobs I think I liked retail alot, but I think that had alot to do with the ppl I worked with. I've never worked somewhere where pretty much every one was nice. I told him I would come see him about back to school time cause I know they always hire extra ppl. I thought about going to Eloy and asking but Cerritos is just too damn far, but Anahiem isn't so bad. eh who knows, I know I don't wanna work day care all summer tho cause I'm just sick and tired of being sick and tired :(
