(no subject)
soo did the black friday xmas shopping thing with mom today at 5 in the morning made the mistake of going to try best buy first,>< people were lining up around the other corner of the outside of the store, if you could imagine, we looked at that after i was victorious in getting a parking space and outmaneuvering an overconfident guy for it.i decided lets go to the Walmart in shorewood,we were there a little bit but within the hour, the $2 $4 $10 bargain dvds either sucked or sold out. i snagged a gameboy micro, an ipod car charger,(you have no idea how useful that is!) and my mom saw a personal dvd player for herself, and a tin of chocolates.
we went back to best buy around 7/8 now, and got some REAL cheap dvds that were alot better + plus voltron vol 1 w/ tin,looked at some ds games and Cromartie(but we only came primarily for the cheap deals/ and that well be coming back, mom got il divo cds that she seems to like now.the only thing i missed (that was sold out) which i REALLY could have used which i would REALLY abuse was the 100 cd-r cds for $2 or $4; their brand: Dynemax.needless to say when we were checking out we did not consider the line that we'd be waiting in,all the waaaaaaaay on the other side of the store thats 2 times bigger than the orland store. amazingly, zero assholes in the store for once.
Everyone was friendly and nice to eachother. This one girl in front of us had been struggling with 3 boxes for Guitar hero 2/ (guitar included each of course) i asked if she needed help but she said her friend just stepped out and she also bought one for her cousin, talked a lil bit, payed and got out at 10 and then went to the mall across the street mark had somethings he wanted, pants at steve&barrys- real cheap pants at like $7,(choke on it old navy :-p) and a mooninites wristband, and a naruto wristband for his one anime friend.he wanted a kakashi one, but all they had where the village symbol ones konoha,sand,music note,etc. so i called and said "they re out" and after a long back and forth i took the konoha/leaf village one cuz "he said which one is kakashi from?" and to get that one. I picked up a zelda pin. by then we were tired so went home and a bunch of random shite, and help out a friend, i just put up the tree and cleaned some the house.
okay i know that was long, so anyone else have a black friday story or anything happen to them today?
