Today, at least.
Going to get a mani/pedi at 11, then study GRE vocabulary until I'm FINISHED WITH THE WORD BOOK. I'm not stopping for anything. I'm letting a friend use my desktop for her project, but I'm going to my usual haunt for studying. There's a cute boy I'm keeping an eye out for.
Latest medical scare:
my right thumb is twitching. It's disconcerting when I've got my hand on the mouse and I'm thinking about what I'm doing on the computer, and my thumb's going *twitch... twitchtwitch* in an irregular pattern. SO AGGRAVATING. I'm seeing my rheumatologist this week for my hip problems, and I'll have her check it out. I may have to be referred to a neurologist. I'm hoping it's carpal tunnel instead of something brain-related. My lower left palm where the thumb attaches to my hand is also painful, like there's a muscle knot in there.
Further activity today involves Pen Club, a writing group at the Shambhala Center, then coffee with my meditation instructor.
And finally? KITTY PLAYDATE. OMG. IT'S GOING TO BE SO CUTE. Trin's 8 years old and my friend just got a little baby boy kitty (who meditates with her) so it's not like I'm putting her in the same room as a girl-cat her age. And f it, if Trin wants to go hide, I'll play with the kitten.
