$5, apparently.
Mommy and daddy left for a cruise, and mom's cat went to the kennel. Less than 24 hours later she asked me to call the vet and check in on Lilly because she was all stressed out when they put her in the cage. I think the stress was equally applicable to both mom and cat.
Mom said she was going to ask the vet people to give her love, but it turns out it costs $5 a cuddle time! In
iheartschnickle's words, that's MONSTROUS! (emphasis hers)
Then again, perhaps cuddles from a stranger would be traumatizing. If the cat remotely knew me (she hides anytime I go the parents') I'd totally make the trip out there and say hello but I don't think it'll help.
I did call today and Lilly's hiding behind the litter box in her cage and barely eating. I'll check in on her again tomorrow. In the meantime, I'll give Trinity lots of love and hope the positive thoughts filter through the ether to her sort-of aunt.
