Return of the Julii
I caught a few minutes of Cane when I was at Atomic the other night shooting darts. One older woman was on the tv and I could not, for the life of me, distinguish the actress between Polly Walker and Melinda Clarke. I could blame TWoP for mixing the two so thoroughly in my mind, but if the makeup people were to dye both women's hair a blondish-brown and put them next to each other, I doubt I could distinguish who was who.
Turns out Polly Walker is in Cane, not Melinda Clarke. As much "loyalty" I have towards Clarke, Walker's the better actress and I'm glad she's crossed the pond with the rest of the British actors.
I didn't know Alona Tal was in the show, also. If I were actually watching TV right now I'd be tempted to pick it up on those two women alone. Fortunately, I seem to have completely eschewed that form of escapism and dived headlong into movies and books.
I'll be back into TV eventually. Just not at the moment.
