One of the most ridiculous attention-getting statements ever.

From imdb:Reid: "I'm Not Stupid Like Hilton and Lohan"Actress Tara Reid will never get into trouble with the authorities because she isn't "stupid" like party girls Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton. The American Pie beauty, 31, insists she is a reformed party girl and is no longer prepared to risk her career, insisting her work comes before her ( Read more... )

I've always had issues with her - seeing her in interviews, her behavior, everything - I don't understand how she can say "she's not stupid" - maybe just because she went through it all a couple years earlier than Paris/Lindsay? I just find Tara has no talent.

Ignore that "huh" comment, I didn't see the first line when I posted that. Clearly my stuff's hitting me.

I think she's partly just jealous. These girls are bigger than she was at their age. And unless she plans to pull a Naomi Watts Mullholand Dr.-move in the next couple of years, seeing she's nearly 32, she's already peaked.

And she doesn't have the talent Watts has in her little pinky.

Amen, sistah. She just wants to try to bring herself to the level of publicity of Lindsay/Paris...which she never was. I don't understand how she became "famous" as an actress in the first place - my dog could act better than her.

Which only makes her look more pathetic. I wonder if she knows how much that backfired.

I'd hit that.

OTOH I'm desperate.

Remember that Tara-dise show they built around her at E! where all she had to do was be a drunken party-girl ho-bag at exotic locations. Priceless!

And the first line of her obituary will have to include the greatest role of her career -- Bunny Lebowski!

"$1,00? I gotta go find an ATM..."

I just imdb'd her and didn't see any show. I didn't look too hard tho.

I did glance down at her message boards on imdb, and had to laugh over the RIP her career post. Not so much that as a person's response to "Oh, just leave her alone, she's a good actress."

The person said: No, we should relentlessly bad-mouth all tallentless [sic] hacks until Hollyood [sic] and its money vampire masses produce better movies."

Now, that I can get behind.

I can see it now: the Coalition for Quality Cinematography. The Foundation for the Eradication of Shitty Actors. Lobbyists for Better Movies.

Not sure if it's an IMDB glitch or if she's trying to bury it, but you can check out Taradise here

Essentially they just gave her the Wild On show after Brooke Burke left and tried to capitalize on her party-girl rep.

It was, of course, a most exquisite trainwreck.

At least she played a whore in that movie rather than pretending she has any substance (Van Wilder was horrible for just that reason - she has no legitimacy to be a smart, sweet, journalist).

God, I sound bad!!

These are the same people trying to sell Denise Richards as the world's foremost nuclear scientist in a James Bond movie.
