Too many TV postings. At least I'm not talking about being depressed anymore.
I was talking to my mom today while I waited for my computer to reboot. Our best conversations are about TV, old and new, meta and... er, what's the opposite of tv meta commentary? Is there even an opposite? Non-underlying meaning/speculation talk? Anyways.
For years, we've been trying to come up with the name of a show we watched when I was way little. We think only a couple of episodes aired. I remember watching it in my parents' room with her in our new house, so I was no younger than 4. Since I can still "see" that one moment I was probably in the vicinity of 5. This would put the show to air around 1982 or 1983. Maybe later, though.
All we remember is it was a kind of high fantasy show that had comedy. The opening credits showed a princess-type person riding away on a unicorn and falling off. We have no idea of the plot, if the show was any good (which we doubt since it was canceled right quick) but it's been driving us both batty for years.
Any ideas?
