Great Weekend
My weekend was good. Friday night I was thinking of having a
subversivepie movie night, but no one else was both available and interested, so
icespark and I just went out for a nice dinner and continued last week’s Zombie Valentine theme by watching 28 Days Later.
Saturday
icespark and I went out to a club for a Mardi Gras party, which was fun. We got to see a lot of couples we haven’t gotten to hang out with in a while. People had missed us, which is gratifying, and so we might start going to the club a little more often knowing that they’ll be people there we want to see.
Sunday I had a wonderful night with
lildomino. I picked her up at her house, and we went to the Outback in Avon. After dinner, we went back to my apartment, where we lit candles and put on the Symphonic Star Trek for a romantic evening of cuddling and massage. Ah, nerd love. *grin*
Yesterday went pretty well for a Monday, and I even get to go home a little early. I was going to use the time to journal, but I saw some of my MUX friends were on, so I got onto
tfumux a little earlier than usual. I wound up getting to RP with a lot of my friends -
icespark finally got her app approved at Snoop (yay!), and I got to RP more with
hotarugirl as Ingénue and Valour. It was a fun night of 80s geekiness.
Today I have my five-year anniversary lunch at Bistro Chopstix. I just hope it doesn’t turn out to the disaster it’s been in the making (we’ve been continuously rescheduling it since September of last year). Yay five years at my “temporary” job. Bleh. At least I’ll get two hours off the phones.
Ah, well. Off to sleep before I’m completely incoherent. Good night! Morning!
