Bit of an angry thing. He takes after his namesake--protective of Ziva, but snappish at most everyone else, with a predisposition for being a magnificent bastard. Ziva spent her first week in Johto training him to listen to her perfectly, and since evolving he's calmed down quite a lot. He doesn't like Abby's Poochyena, Jethro.
He's named for Ziva's half-brother, Ari. The name Ari means "lion".

Sweet and insecure, Laila takes some time to get used to new people--but once she does, she loves being around them. She tended to try and hide in Ziva's hair when she was a Hoothoot, but since evolving is far too large to do so, and now settles for preening it instead. Despite being shy, in battle she's a bit of a raging banshee.
Her name means "night" in Hebrew.

Competitive, playful, and honestly tries his trainer's patience. A lot. This hasn't changed since he became a Haunter, in fact it's only gotten worse--he has hands now. He likes playing tricks on Ziva and her friends, and he would play tricks on Ari, but...well, he has a 2x weakness to Dark. He's taken a liking to Laila, though, and the two of them are around each other all the time.
His name means "wicked" or, more specifically, "to depart from the path and become lost" in Hebrew.

Little Tali isn't much of a fighter, being newly hatched, but she's already wrapped Ziva and Ari both around her little paw--fitting for a Pokemon named for a beloved little sister. She's curious and loving, willing to cuddle up with pretty much anyone. She's a bit undersized, even for an already small species of Pokemon,
which just makes it easier for her to toddle around and investigate small spaces.
She's named for Ziva's sister, Talia. Her name means "dew".
