Kay...you know, you might think it's silly, but whenever I listen to "For Fruits Basket," "A Beautiful Mess," and Stars' "Calendar Girl," I always think of you.
I think of Furuba's OP song because it's so...so fragile and delicate and light and warm and BEAUTIFUL - and all these adjectives can be used to describe you. You're like the song's lyrics in a lot of ways, too, so hopeful and wistful despite all the pain you might face and, somehow, you always make me sentimental like the song makes me. I love it, ofc...just like I love you! *u*/
I think of "A Beautiful Mess" because - well, as we've already established that one day we talked about music & life on Twitter (LOL) - it's your theme song and it's quite possibly the one song by Jason Mraz that really makes me feel so MUCH just from hearing it. You and I both feel so much from music, feel so much about music, don't we? That's just one of the many ways I feel connected to you, Kay...one of the many things about our friendship that makes me smile. :")
And I think of "Calendar Girl" because...well, not only do the lyrics always bring you to mind, but it's the FEELING I get from the song that always makes me feel reenergized and ready to take on the world...and bb, talking to you always makes me like that, too - you should know that it really, truly does ♥
There's just too many words to express how happy I am that we've remained friends all this time...but for now, just take this small token of my appreciation for you & our friendship and accept this small fraction of my heart on this day for love & sharing chocolates? ><;;
