it's been over two weeks since my last post, and in about 3 weeks there won't be any posts for quite some time..
Dear LJ,
Wow, it's been great havin you around. You've been a great listener and someone I can vent to whenever I need to. Without you, I wouldn't know what's going on in my friend's lives, nor would they know some of things going on in mine. At the beginning, you slyly addicted me, sometimes getting me to post 5 times a day just for the heck of it, but as time grew on, we have grown apart, as I have only had maybe one post every week or so. It's not you. It's me. We just weren't meant to be together. No, please don't cry cuz then i'll start crying. Let's just be friends.

ok ok ok..enough of the sarcastic sappy stuff..
well, the mavericks are certainly shaping up..after going down 0-2 in their series against the rockets, they have won 3 straight to pull ahead 3-2..all those idiots who said houston would win in 6 don't know what they're talking about..ok, enough talking it up..we still have one more game to win before the gloating
so i leave in 3 weeks for Provo, UT, where I'll learn Spanish and how to be a missionary for my church..after about 9 weeks of training I'll head down to Guatemala.. everyone has been asking me stuff like "are you excited?"..and of course I'll answer "heck yes i am"..but i'm not just bubbling with excitement, it's more of a silent joy, for i know that the next two years will be far from fun and games.. work will take on a whole new meaning, as will proper accomodations...I've heard Quetzaltenango, Guatemala is quite the jungle..but at least the weather will be more than tolerable..supposedly it's the land of eternal spring there.. with the exception of a few areas, it's roughly 70's yearround down there..sweet..
anyway, i am excited to go because i know that my time shouldn't be just mine and that the giving thereof will make others happier..anyway, g2g
