Hello to all my new Livejournal friends.
And thanks to indicted and her friending meme for helping DBSK fangirls connect.
I just thought I should forewarn all my new friends that I post about a range of things, random quizzes I find, pictures and books that I love, real life drama, underwater basket weaving, and of course - DBSK.
You should know that I sometimes disappear for weeks at a time. My real life friends consider me to be quite shady, but it's also one of my most endearing qualities. And once I reappear, I usually have a story to tell that may or may not involve standing on the corner of K and K street in Boston and being told that I'm at the wrong K street; driving from Virginia to West Virginia, missing a turn, and ending up back in Virginia, two hours away from my starting point; or last minute flights to Oregon.
So here's a few million things about me...
100 Things That Make Me Happy (Besides Money)
1. Arranging words in such a way that I communicate my exact thoughts. Efficiently.
2. The way asphalt smells in the summer after it rains.
3. Laughing babies.
4. Reading in a comfortable over-sized chair on a rainy day.
5. Great paintings. I.e. Caravaggio’s Deposition.
6. Samoas. One box at a time.
7. Good hair days.
8. Riding in a car with the window down and my hand gliding in the wind.
9. Mojitos, Appletinis, Good Bourbon, Pinot Grigio, and Vodka Tonics.
10. Music. It’s the soundtrack for my life.
11. Finishing what I start.
12. Smooth rocks.
13. My mom smiling.
14. Sufjan Stevens’ concerts.
15. My brother laughing. His contentment.
16. Finding new music that strikes a chord in me.
17. A Second Chance.
18. Butter Brickle Ice Cream. Sherbet Ice Cream. Ben and Jerry’s Fish Food.
19. The way a pillow feels after it’s been washed too many times.
20. Watching Angel Food Cake hang upside down on a bottle of wine.

with him. I don’t usually like dogs, but that was one special pooch. I certainly wouldn’t have left him

43. Dreams about my JM. Even though he’s not around here, his appearance in my dreams comfort me. Weird Annoying.

74. The Witch of Blackbird Pond by Elizabeth George Speare. When I was younger I would read this book whenever
my home life wasn’t idyllic. It was one of the first books where I actually felt a connection with the
characters. I still read it at least twice a year.
75. Drawing and Illustrating. Especially mountains and trees.
76. Making an edible dish. I can make boxed cakes, home-made cookies, and quiches. Everything else is touch
and go. Mostly go.
77. Hanging out with old friends and meeting new friends.
