This morning I made vegan whole wheat pancakes. I used Ener-G as an egg substitute. I used rice milk instead of soy. Overall the pancakes were okay, as long as I ate them right out of the pan and warm. A little doughy, not in a raw way, just too much flour or baking soda. I don't know if adding more milk would have helped that problem.
I also spent the early part of the afternoon listening to A Prairie Home Companion and cleaning out the frig and pantry.
Cleaning shelves in a frig is really inconvenient. They're too big to fit in the sink and I have to use every surface available in order to air dry them, but the end result is sooo satisfying. Clean refrigerators are the way to my heart.
Notes: I hate Pepsi, especially caffeine-free Pepsi, but my Dad likes it and he buys it when he's around. Also, I don't eat meat (as of last April), but I also don't have a lot of stuff in my frig, so my aunt is storing the turkey and the ham here until Wednesday because, I've got the room. Also, I'm addicted to cheese. My current obsession is black diamond cheddar but yesterday I bought some goat cheese because
this recipe calls for it and I'm kinda regretting it.
(this is why i don't update everyday, like my life revolves around cleaning floors and tubs and washing dishes because oh-my-god, do i hate dirt. but not in an ocd type of way - my bedroom looks like someone threw up cd's because i'm in the process of making the switch from jewel cases to media boxes, and that only bothers me when i think about it. i don't know whether to lols or :\\\.)
I haven't really gotten back into the habit of checking my flist on a daily basis, but I am reading entries. I'll get my act together soon.
Also X-MAS Cards. You know you want them. You can leave your address over
here, because it's screened. (Also, I'm not below stalking your entries to get your addresses, so just be warned. :D or D: how full or empty is your glass?)
