It's not Halloween. This doesn't make any sense! [He throws his arms up in frustration. The "warden" thing is familiar, in a strange way, but nothing else is. What did that have to do with Salem-- how did he even get to America?] I don't know you!

[Sam stares at her silently for a moment, taking it all in, then he lets out a loud laugh and shakes his head.] Come on! That just sounds mental! That's the kind of thing that, that, [He points to his temple emphatically.] that my mind would make up, 'cos I... bashed my head in, or I dunno, but you can't seriously expect me to believe that rubbish!

[But the sad thing was, a part of him didn't think it sounded that insane.]

You wouldn't believe how often I get that. If you want, I can come check you for head injuries. I'm no doctor, but I have a fair amount of experience with concussions.
