With all Christmas gifts purchased, Max has had a lot of free time on his hands.

What has he done with that free time so far?

He's nailed a piece of mistletoe to the wall above the bed, which he is currently sitting on.

"Ben!" he calls. "Come here!"

The only way to tell that Ben has entered the room is by seeing him enter the room; otherwise he moves too quietly and too slowly to be noticed.

"Yes?"

"Come here," he says, patting the spot on the bed next to him.

Ben glides over to the side of the bed.

Where he stands.

Next to the bed.

"Sit."

Beat.

"Please."

He sits.

And stares.

With an ever-innocent expression, Max points up.

"Look! Mistletoe," he says, as though he has no idea how it got there.

PUCKER UP, BEN :D

Max leans close, bumping Ben's nose with his own.

"Oh, come on. You know you want to."

[imthegoodguy]

He doesn't move away, but -- "I can't believe you put mistletoe above the bed."

"Who said I did it?"

He tilts his head just a few degrees and presses a quick kiss to the corner of Ben's mouth.

"It could've been housekeeping."

"It was you."

[bythatmuch]

Wryly: "You shouldn't be so surprised."

[imthegoodguy]

"I'm not."

[bythatmuch]

Max does not hesitate in breaking out the puppy eyes.

"Aren't you gonna kiss me?"

Ben smirks, shakes his head, and gives Max a quick peck.

"You're ridiculous, you know that?"

[bythatmuch]

"That's a new one," Max mutters, looking quite smug.

He wins!
