Facilities: Just when you thought you'd seen it all...
The radio call "AGS Art Gallery Security) to Facilities. Post 5 reports an object on the floor; can you please remove it?"
OK...Jake the Minion Intern and I are alone in the office so I respond "George to AGS; I'll handle it." Post 5 is just inside the lobby, so all I have to do is get the long-handled claw grabber thing and walk a few feet.
On the way out the door between our loading dock and the lobby, I am stopped by a guard to show me the picture he had to take for documentation. Bunched up the way the dark object was on a dark floor it certainly *appeared* to be a holstered pistol...but it wasn't.
It was a pair of ladies' panties.
How and why they were there is a question, since the guard did not see them fall there or get dropped there, but they were there.
I returned to our area to get a small trash can, went to pick up "the object" with the claw and sweep it into the trash can, then carry it to the dumpster in our trash room.
Apparently yesterday the guard who found them was asked what I did with them. She said "He threw them away. What do you think he did?" I told her to tell them that, but only because they weren't my size. But that was yesterday.
Today's answer shall be "They are stapled to the wall in my man cave"...
