What a great weekend! On friday I finished watching the Jane Eyre mini-series, I did all the laundry, and then left with Jim's mom and sis to orlando. Half way we stopped in west palm beach to have some dinner at fridays, and i had a really nice time actually. The three of us had conversations and few good laughs. It was good "bonding" I guess, since it was just the three of us. They've gotten so much nicer. And besides all that, my dinner was delicious! I had some "mediterranean" meal. Jim was at his dad's for the day and then he met us in orlando.
Even the car ride was fun, I listened to music on my ipod and relaxed most of the way there and then Faith put some comedy station on.
Once we got close to orlando, I realized I forgot my annual pass to the park!! I was seriously freaking out because I wasn't sure if I could get a replacement for it. I was thinking of excuses not to go, and was almost ready to just buy a one day ticket, which would have been to expensive, but I knew Jim wouldn't have wanted to go if it was just him, his mom and his sis. Anyway, when we got to the hotel and I looked on the internet
and found out they were replaceable, I was freaking relieved. Some people online were saying it would cost me 20 bucks but when I got to the ticket booth he said the first replacement was free, and then on it's 10 dollars. PHEW! I was so happy! It turned out I didn't even need my annual pass for halloween horror nights haha, just the halloween horror nights ticket. Since I "saved" 20 dollars, or at least that's what I told myself, I went on splurged on some drinks. I had some sake and some cherry vodka and I ended up pretty tipsy, which made halloween horror nights super fun :D Everything was so "intense" and I got scared so easily! Even after the alcohol wore off I still got scared! One guy in a scare zone got me pretty good, I screamed loud and for a few seconds, I even heard him laugh through his mask haha.
Too bad they don't allow the visitors to wear costumes! That would have been fun, but I can see why they don't. I was so tired at the end of the night, my throat was sore from screaming, and my feet hurt from standing/walking all night, but it was soooooooooooooo worth it!
We put up the rest of the halloween decorations today, and I'm hanging out with turbo (our jack russel) waiting for jim to come home, he's only working a few hours today. I might even let turbo sleep with us in the bed tonight, he's being so sweet and cute. We have one of those cinnamon brooms out, and the house smells like cinnamon. I freaking love cinnamon.
