Phew...
Jim and I had a good morning just hanging out until his work schedule was posted. He saw that he didn't have the days he requested off this weekend and that pissed us off because we had halloween horror nights planned and we were also going to go up to jacksonville to see andy. He called his manager and his manager said she just didn't have enough people to work saturday so she had no choice, and even though he had requsted the weekend a month in advanced it's still a "request. What's stupid is they had 4 more people besides the 5 that are working now, but two quit and after those two quit they fired another two for "stealing" a plate of food. They really need people and they've been slacking on hiring more. This is their fault and the current "good" workers shouldn't have to pay. Anyway, Jim called his co-worker angelis and asked her if she could pick saturday up for some money, and she said she would but she didn't want any money, the only condition was for him to close for her on Tuesday night. What a nice thing to do. It's refreshing to see people do nice things for others like that and Jim and I really, really appreciate what she did. Now our weekend plans our back on track! Yay for nice people :) I'll be sure to remind myself and Jim to pay it forward, and that we should also do nice things just to do them, not just to pay it forward! :)
