I've been researching, and while at it I found out that England was once upon a time a flying island ruled by miniature ducks, but the ducks could not fly themselves since they were so tiny and got tired quickly, so the ducks were stuck up there in their flying island with no one else to keep them company.
It was like that for hundreds of years, until the gerbils came atop white swans. Since then they became best friends; the ducks, the gerbils and the servile swans. Often they had feasts up there in England when the gerbils visited, they were the most lavishly served feasts one could ever imagine, and the party usually carried on for days on a row.
There came a day though when, after one particularily long feast, the island could no longer support the weight of all the creatures in it, and so it came crashing down into the sea~
That is why England is now a common island. Or at least that's what it says here.
I'm king of the world~!
