Yet again long time no post... Although if I get this up I will have managed two posts in one month, which - whoohoo!
So... I broke my arm last week. Just as I was looking forward to a few weeks sorting out my house and what I laughingly call my garden etc after months and months of exam chaos. My right arm. Up by the shoulder, so it can't be put in a cast to mend. (On the bright side I can still shower! Carefully...) So I'm off work, because no one will pay me to type this tortously slowly (left-handed, somewhat ache-ily because most movement pulls at least a little at my right shoulder *headdesk*) but of course I also can't do anything much else! At least I can catch up on some writing at last? See above tortuously slow typing! Sigh...
But enough whinging - I can type slowly with my left hand! So here I am. And there have been some things to type about, too. Before Doing the Deed I attended (what I could of) Virtual BistoCon, went to London and did some locations with a Pros-y friend, and breakfasted with another, and got to see my brother and fam over from Australia as they went through the city - and we went on the Harry Potter studio tour, which I never thought I'd get to do. *g*
Locations! Not done this for a ve-ery long time...
Bonus points for the fic reference... *g*
Lunch had to be here...
(Yeah, completely wrong angle - but at the table where the pic is taken from I was having a very nice lunch with Helen Raven and CD. Oh, despite not being able to hear from one ear all weekend - I'd forgotten that in the latter even worse trauma!)
It was a really hot day, but CD and I bravely took ourselves off into the furnace...
Then off to here - which CD cleverly identified as the exact flat using a variety of clues, and despite a missing tree, which we've never done before because there are many very similar doorways on that block!
My brain addled with heat, I didn't take a proper Pros river pic, but I liked this chap...
And he's wearing the same colours...*g*
Okay, I think I need to go off and sulk about how long this has taken me, but I will try to post about some of the other things too. I've been signed off work for a fortnight, so its not like I have lots of other stuff just now... *sighs and sulks* - it couldn't have been my left shoulder, even??!!
(How're you doing? And let me know if you want me to add a cut for some of the pics. I totally can, I'm just being lazy...)
