Lj glitchy tonight - or is it me?

I hate to say this, but my lj is glitching alot tonight. I hope that's all it is, just glitches (or else my internet rather than my lj), but like alot of people I'm worried about the effect that sanctions etc. is going to have on our access to lj, and only hope we're small enough fry to fly under the radar... you know, and other mixed metaphors

Thank you! :-)))) It's sort of semi-postponed this year as eldest can't visit for another couple of weeks (because work, plus just in the middle of moving into a new flat), but there will definitely be a glass of something that inebriates in my relatively near future *g* (I guesstimate about 5 hours hence, in fact)
(and blimey, yes, can't believe it - I know what you mean! Goes double for me! :-))
hope you're keeping well, and long may we all stay that way, eh! (if only I could mandate the very best of good fortune all round ... interesting times keep raising the bar)

On a more cheerful, if un-Prosy note, I was watching an old (well, about 10 years oldish) show online recently and have decided that this cop needs a buddy cop (though he doesn't appear to have one - a shameful oversight!).

Rats for postphoning, but hopefully that means two birthday celebrations rather than one, even if one's bigger than the other, if you see what I mean. *g*

It's Aaron Pedersen being a cop in City Homicide, in Melbourne :-)

Postponing is definitely a good excuse to have another go-round, so it's fine - looking forward to seeing spawn#1! :-))))

Ah - I don't know that series at all! Shall have to look into it - I see it's up to about 7 seasons!

Eh, it's the ol' ensemble-cop-show, I guess - I just stumbled across it, started watching and then sort of found myself wondering why nobody in it was slashable 🤣 . Then I unilaterally decided that this character ('Duncan Freeman') was, but there was no-one to slash him with 😕
Just the disjointed ramblings of the derailed mind, as per :-)
(just fyi a few of the eps are starting to get a wee bit on the violent side for my taste, but still watching a couple of eps of an evening every so often. I don't mean the show is unusually bloody or anything - nothing out of the ordinary in that respect - it may be that my tolerance for tv violence has changed!)

spawn are indeed okay (well, a little bit of add-okayness-together-and-divide-by-total#spawn to get an average may be required, but everybody's alive and kicking! *g*) spawn#1 is pretty happy about finally having moved into the long-planned new place; went to say hi to some of the new neighbours, only to find that the one literally next door is a former workplace colleague! Though they were barely acquainted at the time (different departments or something). Anyway, apparently apparently the neighbours all seem nice so far which is always a plus :-) spawn#2 is slowly getting a bit busier again, which is great, with one or two fancier things coming up :-)

Hope you are flourishing! Any detectoring at the moment? Hope neighbourhood is being lovely? And that you are as well as well can be in every way! (I haven't been on LJ, indeed, so probably missed loads of things not to mention missing your beautiful photos (>.<) )
