...you can come too, too, too... *g* (Look at me - I'm a bus!)
Today's road (which is yesterday's road, cos I'm so nearly caught up!) was slightly wetter than for the last 11 days.
But it brightened up, and only sprinkled briefly at the zoo, and saved the proper downpour for the drive home - perfect!
Which took us to Tierpark Hellabrun - Hellabrun Zoo, in Munich! And we saw giraffes...
...and wolves...
...and sparklefishes (okay, that may not be their real name... *g*)
...and jellyfishes...
Bodie and Doyle after Macklin's had them...simians...
Sunning turtles, and surprised puss-cats...
...roaring lions and turtles having a natter...
We got to this enclosure just as the boys were back in town...
And this chap was amazing - so human-like...
See between the two penguins holding hands...? *g*
And then Penguin-Cowley frowning after a somewhat recalcitrant agent... Anson, perhaps. *g*
New agent penguin...
Seemed to be a bit of a lack of snow...
All of which was viewed with our special treat for the day -
loxleyprince came to meet two potentially scary strangers from the internet, and so it was also a Pros day! *g* Slightly odd combination, mind, cos on the one hand ooh-animals, on the other hand nice-to-meet-you, and on the other hand (I said it was odd... *g*) tell-me-about-Pros-for-you! But it was all very nice and very fun, and squeee and hooray! for having met another Pros fan in Germany! *vbg*
...and then it was time to go home, and Mr Maus very gallantly drove for three dark hours in the pouring rain and traffic until we were home safe and sound. And then made spaghetti and homemade fresh tomato sauce (with tomatoes grown in his own garden) for a late dinner - far beyond the call of duty (and very delicious).
Can't believe there's only three days left in Germany - and at the end of the third day I'll be back in England and heading down the motorway. But on the bright side - there's still three days left in Germany! *vbg*
