366 Photos - 50/366 - There is Spring!
Back to Wells to work this morning, in an effort not to go too mad, but before I settled into the library, I went for a wee walk around the Bishop's Palace - and discovered that spring has come to Somerset!
Well, not so much in the first picture, from here, but daffodils! Blossom! And there were snowdrops and primroses too, but too far away for a pic. *g* (The pics are prettier if you see them bigger too, especially the one with the daffs - there's blossom in that one too, and it looks like a gentle snow falling in front of the cathedral. *g* Oh! And I used to follow a Tumblr site called Beautiful Portals, and though it's not exactly beautiful, it is all the things that I like in a portal... old and mysterious and reflective... *g*
Also - it's the weekend! It's an actual weekend! I finished today's deadline-work, and I've spaced out the next lot so that I actually get a weekend - whoo-hoo! I'm so hooooping it won't rain entirely (it was supposed to today, but didn't) so that I can go out jaunting a bit. I've been so stay-at-home that I want to get ouuuuuut!
And please, please, please, I want to write. I know I keep saying this, but I do...
