Well, it's all changing again in that staying-the-same-really way that it has - and I am blissfully having a quiet one at home. I'm gonna ramble about this year a bit though... *g*
What have I done this year? Mostly, I think, I just lived in Somerset for a bit, and didn't really do much, but I did do things... I worked with words. I worked with

My health has been recovering slowly, my goal is for that to continue. I'm going to be very poor this year, so travel is out (at least, anything I can't do for minimum cost), but art and creativity are in - loads of left over supplies from previous forays.
My new interest is vidding and digital art - see how we go with those, and I haven't actually drawn anything for ages - so maybe time to get the pencils out - and finish my various WIP - and unpaint myself from some plottish corners.
Regain some of my fitness.
My best mate reads like you, I used to read loads, but then I got too busy, and then I got too ill, so not so very much so...
But mostly, I'd just like to be happy. And for everyone to stay safe and healthy.

Your 2016 plans sound good - simple and focused, spot on! Shall keep an eye out for your art, by the sounds. And cross my fingers and hold my thumbs for the happiness - for everyone. *g* Happy New Year!

Your plans sound quite lovely, particularly your travel ones, best luck getting those going! Have always wanted to visit NZ myself, the pics I've seen look phenomenal. I would like this year to be the one in which (a) the spouse has NO hospital visits whatsoever, (b) I kill the rest of the debt and start chucking money into savings, (c) I get the jewelry business going a bit more, (d) I get at least 5 fanfics written *g*, and (e) we get the kitchen fixed. Whew!

And ooh, trees... week two! *g*
I liked NZ alot, the twice that I've been - way too briefly! I want to do six months or so, and do it properly, travelling around... one of these days!
I like the sound of your 2016 goals too - go you! Especially (d) (but also of course (a) and the others... *g*) Here's to 2016!

Your Milky Way photo is beautiful. Love that photo with the tree and the stars. :-) Yay!!! for the new-in-2015 camera and the plans to take more photos in 2016. (Taking photos of exactly the same place in all four seasons might be fun.)

I like the idea of the same-place photos too - I've seen that sort of thing done, and it's always fascinating! Maybe that tree... *g* Or perhaps that's a good excuse to go and look for a really pretty place for all seasons... Thanks!

(And for the record, I think your Milky Way photo is fabulous (even without a tripod) because, you know, loads of stars. :-)

And great to hear that you'll be posting your photography here, rather than on FB. I don't know if it's just me, but that particular venue seems to be dying just as LJ seems to be getting its legs back. Yea for that!

I'm not sure whether Fb is dying or not (though I hear the kidz are abandoning it cos their parents have taken it over *g*) but it's never grabbed me as a forum I really want to post in. Quite apart from the non-pseud thing, it doesn't seem like a place to be creative, though I know lots of creative people have facebooks... I dunno. It mostly seems like somewhere to organise stuff with your friends (cos heaven forbid using the phone or anything) or else just shouting into the world about what you're doing... I'll keep following the author there, and family, and the couple of friends I do see over there, but I never post anything - and no one ever asks me to, so I guess no one misses it! Yeay for lj!

As far as writing, yeah, I was writing a lot of Star Trek for awhile, but that's slowed to a crawl. Where I do seem to be writing more is in MFU. I'm hoping it'll sort of carry over to my other fandoms.
