Hello! It's the Monday after Christmas, and it's a bank holiday Monday, and after three days of mostly sitting on my couch and reading books, interspersed with watching telly, I think I should probably try and be a bit more active today... *g* So - a post isn't a bad place to start, I think? Hope you all had good days over the break - and still are

Wow, that's quite a few books! I don't know how you manage it, especially during the holidays. I think I read one, lol.

Have you ever checked out The Guardian's photo assignments for readers? Even if you don't want to join in with their assignments, they have interesting ideas.

Oh I have, yes! There's some interesting ideas, it's true! I think when I need inspiration though, I often need it to be more personal - there's so many fab ideas out there that it's nice to be able to narrow it down to ideas closer to home (not always of course, sometimes you want new things that are way out there *g*). Or maybe I mean ideas that you know might mean something to other people you know too, rather than just being someone else flinging random stuff onto the internet... *g* If I do the 365 project I suspect I'll end up using a mixture of things for inspiration - and judging by the one I was doing for a bit, sometimes not very inspired at all!

Hee - well remember that I don't have any one else really to fit in or please or worry about, so... and if there's no one to talk to then what else would I do at breakfast and lunchtime than read...? And then there's before-bed of course. *g* And I do read quite fast, especially when things are light and luscious. *g*

Thanks for the photography vote - I was enjoying the 365 project that I started with the local club, it's just that posting it to Fb meant extra time on line rather than less, which was my original reason for joining in... But posting to lj is a perfectly normal part of the day, so... I might do. *g* That said, they weren't all terribly exciting! I might have to ask you guys for themes... *vbg*
