Yes - nice to know she's online as far as she feels she can be (presumably it's because the other stories are still being published in zines that means they've not been put up too - but hopefully one day she'll feel able to have Larton and the other fics put up too... *crosses fingers, holds thumbs*
I'm sure I've read this before, but I've saved it to read again. I love her work. As you say, it's so atmospheric, taking you to another time or place, yet still keeping the Lads the Lads.
I love this story--as I love all of Rhiannon's stories, really. In many ways, I think it's more realistic than a lot of our stories. It's just so harrowing and heartbreakingly real--that sense of utter loss that Bodie feels.
She is very definitely one of my very favourite Pros authors - and yes! Even when she's writing AU, her stories are sometimes so much more real than so many... they deal with different things, to some extent I guess, but still... *sighs happily*
