Monday monday...
So... odd day so far! Nice and quiet, with the office mostly to myself (bliss!), but lots of work to do, but... well, here I am. *g* No lunch, cos there are interviewees popping in and out, but I'm hopeful in the next fifteen minutes or so...
And this!
Apologies for the wonky framing, but I had to take a picture of this, cos one minute there was snow coming down faster than I've seen it... almost ever, even in Alaska! and maybe ten minutes later the sun was practically out and shining again! Now, maybe another hour on, the sky is a flat grey again, and looking ominous.
Anyone else got snow? *vbg*
Also, I came across this via exploring something called Spartanfam, which doesn't at all seem like my sort of thing, but on the other hand looks like a very good thing, especially if this sort of sentiment is genuinely involved (and relates to men, as well, of course!):
Big up all the natural women out there.
You realise that true beauty has nothing to do with looks.
You stay real because fake is not in your dictionary.
You don't care what the other people are doing.
You look how you look, but never let it define who you are.
You will have beautiful children who's idea of beauty will be as you taught them, simply natural.
One day I hope I will have a daughter that grows up to be just like you.
