Finally, I've managed something for the National Curriculum History Challenge in which empty_mirrors gave me the prompt "D-Day".

Thank you przed for a very patient beta-ing!

Saw the twist coming, but it still worked something lovely.

Fav line...And he knew. In another century, in another world, Bodie would have cleaned water lilies for him. That's just delicious.

And speaking of, I think I ended up in France at some point during the story. You have an amazing way of creating atmosphere. I felt entirely *there*. Thanks for a great read. :-D

Hee - thanks! I know, there weren't really that many characters in there for it to be a huge twist, but it wasn't really all about the mystery in alot of ways... Glad you liked the waterlilies too! *g*

Love, love, love...
Captures it all - breath, heart, mind.
The way in which you catch Ray, enthralled, amazes me. Thank you.

What a truly lovely story! Romantic, yet never losing the men's edge.

Oh, I'm glad you said that! I worried a little bit that it was too far on the romantic side, and that I was teetering on losing the lads! So - Phew! And thank you!

I love this more every time I read it. And empty_mirrors is right about how well you create the atmosphere. Perfection.
