Finally, sitting-still, ProsWatch-y Sunday bliss... *g*
And we're straight into it today - Doyle's desperate face right in the camera, his voice on the telephone, and they've got him running all the way over London... and he's doing it, and he's all sweaty and a bit grubby, and... *g*
Theme!
Ooh - and taking careful aim at the dummies... very good shot... Spooky dummies on the stairs - they're great aren't they, fab setting. I wonder if the location people found it like that and thought yes, or whether someone decided "I want a warehouse full of mannequins...!
Ooh - the "medical" - Doyle all wary but full of aggro...
And hee - Doyle's running all over the shop - after cars, and back down alleys, and... He's looking very solid somehow in those jeans, that shirt and jacket...
Ooh, he's on tea-no-sugar now - it used to be three... *g* And hee for spitting it out and complaining to the agent who made it! *g*
Clever Doyle up on top of the van - he must have scrambled to get up there, mind... And all casual at the tea wagon again, hee for having coffee instead of tea!
Ah - and there's our Bodie in his sunset colours again... Hee - love Bodie's jaundiced "Yeh" when the other bloke says he thought they were looking for mercs for Africa! The good old days of left luggage...
I do like Elizabeth Walsh's cottage - so beautifully out in the country, and look at that garden... and those windows... *g*
And hee for Walsh and Cowley on those chairs...
...and ohh for Bodie's gorgeously bemused expression! Cowley's a step ahead of him again! *g*
It's another lovely day in England, blue skies...
Oh, Doyle's been sussed... don't know how, but he has...
Bodie again - and hee, sweetie-eating-guy has half a mannequin's face on his wall... Oh no, it's Doyle! (Not the mannequin face, the victim!) They're supposed to shoot Doyle! Doyle looking very stoic... phew for Bodie spotting the camera...
Oh, Doyle...
But yeay, Bodie gets them out of it, and it turns out that the other bloke is Williams from MI5, and they're safe! And the lads are together immediately they're free to be. *g*
Hee - lads together in HQ, Doyle all disgruntled, Bodie sort of... awed. Cowley's got some major political thing going on, and he's not in a good mood...
Bodie again - nooo, bring them back together - off to Twigg and Ferris and the mannequins, then chasing around London...
Love Doyle's silent menace with Williams in the office - he just looks at him, doesn't he, with that rather sullen scowl...
The lads start to round up the bad guys..
Hee - Doyle noting an uncomfortable angle at which to be shot... *g*
And yes - the non-collision scene! *g* They're together even when they're not together! Hmmn - did Doyle park up, or did he leave his Capri in the middle of the street?!
Lads at the boathouse - ooh, Doyle swinging and dodging the bullets, Bodie with a perfect shot to bring the final killer down...
Oh, and the lads on stakeout - Bodie all sleepy agianst the window, bless 'im...
But neither so sleepy that they can't bring down Ferris with very few problems at all.
Doyle with Ferris... very serious, very solemn - ha, love his "Don't worry, it's soundproof!" in response to Ferris' questions. Oh, and it's the filling the bath one, isn't it - and oh, Doyle's taken his jacket off- I do like that shirt with just the holster - not sure about the rubber gloves though!
And the lads in the gold Capri after the Mysterious Man... wait, that wasn't Brian Clemens himself taking a part in the last ep? Doing a Hitchcock? Hmmn...
Lads still looking a bit tired, or disillusioned or something in Cowley's office...
Lads in the car - yeay.
Lads in the boat - even more yeay, Bodie balancing himself on Doyle's shoulder!
Oh, and that fab moment of Bodie really actually nearly falling off - eep!
Doyle thrown against Bodie as they're fired at... *g*
A brilliant shot from the Very pistol, and...
It's all over...
...and our lads are pulled in to shore in their rather diminished boat!
And... wow, just think - that really was the last ever Pros... *sighs sadly*
Hmmn - I don't mind that one, cos there's some nice moments, but it's my usual complaint for Season Four - the lads just aren't together enough, and when they are it's all a bit... desultory. And even the plot seems to sort of rev itself up, and then just when you think it's building to the final climax - there's yet another final climax to come... or something. I don't know. And desultory lads...
They need a good holiday away together, that's what they need! And me, I need my bed... bad time for lj to be out for ages!
