HAPPY CHRISTMAS, EVERYONE! ...not that it's Christmas quite yet, but.

HUGE THANKS to g_esquared for the beta when I was at my halfway mark, calerine and illuvium for being thoroughly lovely and encouraging, and to everyone who requested. ♥♥♥ seriously, these were amazing requests and I had so much fun with them. This can be evidenced from the fact that I clearly threw the ( Read more... )

I was heading for bed (it's 2:30 am here in Tokyo) when I saw this and got excited on finding out that you wrote Becky from the beach house.

I LOVE IT! It's short, sweet and romantic and a fitting epilogue to the fic (like those scenes on film played after the credits).

I'm going to read the rest when I wake up. Thank you for writing all these drabbles. Happy Aiba day and Merry Christmas!

I love all your universes.

Heart Food doesn't fail to make me crave for all the food being described in it. I adore the Nino/Matsuken bromance and the OT5 friendship. I love the bonus Yuriko too and the mention of Toma and Koyuki.

Sho's description of an "unwashed-honours student-turned-wild man who hasn't shaved in two weeks" immediately reminded me of his appearance on Kiiroi Namida. I once used trolley bags to carry my books (I got known for it too)

A manipulative Nino in an Ooku is an interesting idea.

I will re-read Storm Children. I like that the King's Men are not literally men (except for Jun) but kick-ass women.

If what it takes for you to write out all your remaining notes for this AU is a request, you know what all my futures requests will be! I'd been interested in meeting the rest of the King's Men since you mentioned they were all women (strong females characters! have a emoticon for that: *____*) and Koyuki and Yuko are just perfection here in their relation/attitude toward Jun...even if I've never seen either of the dramas.

Erika and Yui were a bit of a surprise, but I love how they mirror Koyuki/Yuko as contrasting extremes and then we have Meisa who, like Jun, is somewhere in the middle -- so their dynamic and power play just makes so much sense. More on that in a sec, but first: Meisa's bangles make no sound at all as they walk on at a brisk pace, but out of the corner of Matsumoto's eye he sees them gleaming darkly, the same way that Ninomiya's rings sometimes do. Loved for obvious call-back reasons ( ... )

OH AND.

It is like seeing the sunrise, like the sunrise and spring and the heady scent of something beginning anew.

"Hello," Becky replies, smiling, and in that moment it is as if something in the universe - in every universe - has fallen perfectly, beautifully into place.

Yes. I went all the way back to the original fic just to quote your own words back at you. But. This was what I was thinking when I read that last line. Jsyk.

Oh. Oh, this is great, thank you so much!
As I said, I really like this verse and this is wonderful! I really like that it's from Brad's pov, who reacts in his totally Brad fashion.
It also allows a small glimpse at how it is for Brad, this whole time travel problem of Ray, which is one of the things I was most curious about.
Thank you again for digging into old fandoms for me! ♥ Sorry to be a pain in the neck ♥

oh my god, other females in the storm children universe. Every time you write anything new to that world, it gets more and more amazing. I just. I cannot tell you how much I love it. And in this part, we see Koyuki, Yuko, Aragaki, and Toda. I MEAN. OHMYGOD. and i love that they're not just nobody--they are all so damn powerful, and fuck it if you cross them. I love the back and forth between Matsujun/Meisa. And JUST ALL OF IT. God. I LOVE this world. I think I'm due for a Storm Children re-read. *____________*

!!! AND I ALMOST FORGOT. THE BECKY FROM THE BEACH HOUSE MEETING HER OWN OHNO IN HARBOR. Also one of my favorite story of yours. *________________* absolutely lovely and pitch-perfect (i think i'm due for a re-read of that as well. ♥♥♥)
